Erin is absolutely perfect!
Despite an induction scheduled to begin at 7:00 A.M., Erin decided to choose her own birthday. I woke up at 1:51 A.M. in labor, arrived at the hospital at 4:30 A.M., had an epidural (oh, happy day) at 10:15 A.M., and delivered the sweet princess at 11:06. As far as labor goes, it was pretty easy.
The boys came to visit their sister as soon as they woke up from their naps that afternoon. That moment couldn't have been more precious or priceless. They were so excited and proud. They couldn't stop laughing and smiling. It was absolute love at first sight!
Since then the novelty has worn off for Alex but Ethan wants to hold his sister constantly and continues to remind us daily of all the things he will teach her "when she grows bigger."
Patrick and I know that we have truly been blessed. We have three amazing gifts from God and could not be happier.
